@luneborgstar...Your comment made no sense to me. It is clear that you still do not understand what a word Audsim is. That means hearing people discriminate against the deafies and judge the deaf with no respect of their rights?  Audism is not a weapon against the deaf community. Audsim is defend the deaf rights. For an example, if you are black, do you want white people hate you because you are black? That is called a racist. If you are a woman, men make fun of you. It is called a sexism.

Deaf folks know what audism is and have experienced it since the first child was cast off in Sparta, Greece if not before so a word of this experience is way overdue. I am thrilled and pleased and grateful that NAD is heeding the call of the likes of Robert McGregor (their first president) and George Veditz (7th president).

Thank you for following up on a past NAD conference resolution - to get Audism in the dictionary. Thank you also for having sent the letter to Merriam-Webster dictionary in April and for making this vlog. Knowledge is power and disenfranchised groups become empowered when they can name their experiences.

Hey NAD and Dr. Scoggins! Want to thank you for doing this declaration of intention to push dictionaries to add AUDISM. It struck me hard when you shared the information about LOOKISM. hi prez boobie beth. nice meeting you. glad to hear what did you speechless about audism. as for me, i dont take a word becuz i believe the audism is a curse which is cause deaf community against each other when it will more divide deaf people, its too impossible becuz deaf community is very smallest than a biggest world of hearing people. what about media if there have a proof for audism but nobody can afford an audism nothing at all. once i say DEAF COMMUNITY IS VERY SMALLEST. come on.
