Kansas City Move 3 cannisters from 3 source rooms to 3 destination rooms/bins based on can weight and bin color, smooth tile board track. Team 1 (Nicole Stewart, Dustin Reynolds, Anita Shah, Akshaya Koshy) was in first place after the first two rounds, going into the final round. In the final round, a canister the robot was carrying rolled a little and would not fit into the bin. They won 5th place, but would have won 1st place if that stupid can had not rolled! They did, however, win the Best Design/Technology Award. Team 2 (Lahiru Jinadasa, Wolly Ekanyake, Jhonny Feng, Kalpesh Patel) had an excellent robot also, but it had processor reset problems, and they did not make the final round. If they had completed their rounds, they would have had a top 5 robot.
