You can all laugh but I have this and I am saving $89.00 per month with this servce, I pay zero for phone bills.

My mother has one and I bought it for her. I love this! You plug in your old line to this, and you can use this until your is complete and unplug FINALLY from the wall! All porting done from Brighthouse to Ooma! Painless! Went to their website registered this, made an image of the bill, along with typing in old account info from Brighthouse and BOOM 15 days (I know, typical port time) everything was perfect. I plugged the cable into the internet port & router in the network port. :) It's beaut!

I really liked the video, and thought about subscribing, however I have not been able to find any follow up on the ooma telo on your page. I see the video was done Feb 9,2010, so I would think in more than a year of use. your could do a follow up, as to how you liked it and more about the quality.

does the ooma telo assign an internal IP address to a computer and provide firewall protection, like as though it were a router? And what other things can you configure in ooma -setup-com?

I got "Fire your phone company." on the back of my Ooma telo instead of "Ooma gives you free U.S. calling with no monthly fees."
