  • Alright, I am confused a bit.

there is nothing wrong with these things (sex in marriage, work, gardening, video games, etc). So at what point does this become an idol?

  • @kornykorhorn I believe it becomes an idol when it removes your priority from God to that item.

  • "If at any point your idol is threatened, you become paralyzed." That says it all.

  • I've heard some teaching on idols before. This is the best.

  • I like Ptr Discroll, the way he explain the word of God is very clear. I always watch his video everytime i started to work i just listen to it while typing..:-) May God bless you!!!

  • What do you call two honest people talking? Comunication.

What do you call an honest person talking to a hyporite? Frustrating.

What do you call a hypocrite talking to an honset person? Frustrating.

What do you call a hypocrite talking to a hypocrite? English culture.

  • @kpfareal Its not just practical, its a spiritual issue.

  • The single most clearest example of someone in Idolatry is Paul Weller. His idol is music. He keeps suffering wrighters block, he writes in very constipated kind of ways and when he falls off his vibe, he gets proffoundly profoundly dipressed. A lot of his songs would be fifty times better if he didnt set his identity on it.

  • Help me out guys please. I really like video games but lately I'm feeling convicted. I want to pursue God with all my heart but I'm scared He might leave me if I play video game. This is partially due to the fact that I have 2 exams next week, but I want God to be the one I'm going after, not the world. Please help me out!

  • Is this man putting an Idol above God, namely a book called the Bible-seems so. So therefore he is an idolator.

Thats, as my mother would say, a pot calling the kettle black. Mark D needs to look in the mirror to see idolatry.

  • Suffering to serve Mars Hill;)

  • The biggest idol I see in the body of Christ today is the idolatry of family and the idolatry of success
