lol last time i was at the OC fair years back they had lodals and heil pods and they just drove through the crowd too

Thats crazy.I had to do something similar about 10 years ago at a country fair. Except I was driving a septic truck. The tank from their indoor washroom got full and all the porta-pottys were overflowing. Not my funnest day at work.

That's where the air horn would come into use =] Why don't they just do this job during the night, much safer and easier. When some major events are on over at the Sydney Olympic Park the FLs and ROROs come down during the night when no one is there (would love to get some videos of that too actually).

Oh I suppose that's true. Well if that much is produced why wouldn't they set a few compactors around the place?

nah.. roll-off's maybe but they're so big, and they'd still probably have to switch off all of them everyday.. and there's so many places where they have dumpsters, they can spread them out more this way I'm sure.. they probably figured this was the best way to go, they can dump when needed and compact it all and haul it out easily, plus they have the cardboard dumpsters too & a few compost. this also probably helps keep smell down. they've done it this way for years.. but they used to use WM.

Oh that's fair enough then, guess the regular pick-ups are better. Would be some good money in this contract!

ya I bet! I'm not sure how much they pay but I think it's by the ton.. they had something on the news several years back during the fair and they were talking about like how many hundreds of tons of garbage they go through or w/e
