I love my 93 NA!

@OniXV250 No, the idea is that with the car you get the sense of being one being like when you ride a horse. And personally I find driving a car to be more like riding a hose than riding a motorcycle is.

@SPQRImperator Miata means "reward" in Old High German.

lol at the guy at the end

@HBXTQ1990 Um, no. "Miata" isn't made up. It's not like "MX-5", just some semi-random alpha=numeric name.
"Miata" means something, but what, I do not know.
Like "Jetta", "Golf", "Bora", etc. for VW are the names of wind currents...every name has a meaning, no matter how obscure.
-
@SPQRImperator Miata doesnt mean anything. Thats why in Europe we call it MX5. We never call it Miata.
-
@HBXTQ1990 I stand corrected. I read a sportscar book that claimed as much. Clearly I can't trust the facts presented in that book now.
Hmmm...so what does "miata" really translate to, literally?
-
@SPQRImperator no its not. I speak german and "Miata" is not a German word. Not by any stretch of the imagination. Reward in German is "Belohnung" :P

This video shows everything that Mazda is... and everything that the Honda and Toyota of today are NOT. My MS3 makes me want to drive it. An 8th Gen Honda Civic makes me want to drive it off a cliff.
I wish I could 1080p this

The Miata is easily one of the top cars over the past 20 years -- I love seeing anything by Mazda highlighting the car.
