My question is: How can any boxing association allow someone like Tony Ayala to be part of it? He was an ordinary agressive criminal. Totally wrong.

he was fucked up becouse a family member raped his ass when he was a boy. I remember in an interview, Ayala said his dad used to put hot peppers in his boys mouths to make them tougher. that abuse made him an abuser! but, loved the way he worked low, then brought his shots up! Sugar Ray was raped too, but he never turned psycho like this guy. lots of sick shit was done to him & he did to women.

@imduhin This fight took place July 28, 2000. When I first saw this fight I thought Campas would knock him out, as Ayala had never fought anyone of his level of ability, and found it knida funny afterwards when he quit on his stool...because Teddy never stopped talking about the possibilty of Campas quitting when the going got tough.

That's a little too rough of you but, I do agree that even in his supposed prime he would have lost to all 4 fighters you mentioned. They all had way bigger talent, drive, determination, and heart.

I know you were. Sorry to say that I can't comment much beyond his "exploits". I was a fighter and I had 38 sanctioned amateur bouts, culminating with a Golden Glove Hvywt title.. My conduct outside the ring was exemplary, leading me to a career in law enforcement, which ultimately spanned 28 yrs. The guy is a disgrace and a piece of garbage, and I cannot comment much beyond that. No offense...
