Forget journalism and Congress, what about female athletes who are always put down cuz of their sex? I hate how the media put down the UConn WB-Ball team after winning over 100 games in a row, but because they play "weaker opponents" then the guys do, their accomplishment means nothing. I love women's sports, but I don't like how so many women are taught not to like sports at all, cuz its not "womanly." @Orion1232 i do take advantage of my opportunities--who doesn't?? but to say i don't give it a second thought is just wrong. i think about it all the time. do you really believe women would portray themselves as sexual objects for fun? hell no. they do it for men, because men run the institutions, they control the media, and they're taught to objectify. i think this is just as dangerous to men as it is to women. i advocate for men's rights just as much as i do women's.

@HappyBaffs you are correct - they don't want women to be fat - they should be healthy. But walking around half naked to garner attention - is that really necessary? Go 100 years back - did anyone do that? So why is it only now, in our Western civilisation that this happens?

@mattlove1 I actually didn't want to be ON the front lines, I just thought that it was sexist. Why can't a girl risk their life out there? I actually wanted to be more into the tech and the mechanical side of things-the military has so many secrets about EVERYTHING-that's my reason.

We need a military to have a defense. Do I like what they are doing now? No.

Oppose what empire the male dominated one? I don't hate all men, most of my friends are guys. I just had a very bad encounter with one.
