@brk2005 most cultures we use hands it makes you one with the food!and you can show it love, why do you think u can never beat a mothers or grans hand becuase usally they will use hands

I just took them out of the oven. They look so good that my husband couldn't wait til they are cold, so he jumped on he first one and he LOVES it.. They are super delicious and my house smells delicious too..Thanks a bunch my dear sousou for your great recipe!!! XOXOXOX

I made this recipe yesterday. Very easy and everything was perfect except, they were a bit bitter from the lemon zest. Next time I'll either omit the lemon zest, or put half than the zest of one lemon, may be my lemon was too big, anyhow great texture, chewy and simple, sliced almonds a nice touch, overall they were good with sweet tea. Thank you.

@khaltubibi The cookies were bitter because you went to the white of the rind. You should use only the yellow part.

hymmmm, i like the recipe,but i need proper measurements and baking time....
why do u use hands instead of hand mixer ?
