@nardeldarf Maybe so...but that's about all it has goin' for it ...besides Michelle Pfieffer's first film appearance...and Fran Drescher's got a hot back seat scene..other than that..not much to recommend it.
In 55, the chev 265 had 180 hp, in 56 the same 265 was offered in a Power Pack' version with a quad carb and dual exhaust for $2,100. It was advertised at 210 hp. In 57 it was offered with fuel injection and advertised at 270 hp.The Chrysler 300 hemi was the first stock engine that could put out one hp per ci. in 58 the Detroit engines began a hp race that would not end for many years. No concern about emissions, just raw power that could also idle around with ease. Good old days for sure.

I own DVD's of both..and "Hollywood Knights" can't hold a candle to "American Grafitti"..its nowhere in the same class...
"Graffiti" started the post-Vietnam nostalgia craze of the early 70's..it made Hot Rods cool again long before ZZTop did it on MTV.
And "Graffiti" is on the American Film Institute's list of 100 Greatest movies of all time.
'Hollywood Knights" is grade B drive-in fare....
