KP3 & beatbox Eliot

when i was checking on the KaossPad3 i mostly wanted to know about its sampling functions. i couldnt find this info on youtube.

now that i have it i made a quick presentation what you can do with the Kaoss Pad 3 sampling by doing the beatbox.

i build up a beat from screatch starting with a 1 beat sample of "t" from "eliot" (using as a click), adding a synth line (sample set to 4 beats), beat and bass-breath track (sample set to 8 beats). i am using different sample lenghts, bouncing 2 tracks to one new, individual track volume adjustments and mute function for breaks during creation.

i hope this gives an overview of the sampling functions of the kaoss pad 3 and even what you can do using beatbox with it. here i dont use any of the fx. its live sampling of my beatbox only, showing only sampling functionality.

i inserted titels to every step, describing what i do. you might want to hit "pause" on the player for better reading.

this is not a teaching video, as you cant see exactly what buttons i push. but i hope it gives an idea of what is possible and motivation to play around for oneself.

sound and video was done with my point-n-shoot cam so it is dirty and raw : )

please post what software you used. like "loopy LLama" from rekliner ? but there are others around right. maybe someone has experience with these. maybe using with netbooks is fun : )
