I've watched many vids with drummers attempting to do steve smith's fill on seperate ways....so i just wanted to help : )....i repeated it several times so people could see it.

  • Basically learn right left foot and you got this one..... now try the intro to Judas Priest painkiller, more complicated but same idea

  • @DiegusIcarus good for you...you have no idea how many drummers dont know the basics...as a drummer/percussionist you must learn and some what master your trade! I have a few progressive speed vids on here, check 'em out, you may appreciate them...Mangini is a good drummer but i was thinking more in the line of Buddy Rich, Carl Palmer and Tony Royster jr!

  • @francodrummer1 I know, but the application to music is important too. Mike Mangini is a monster technically speaking. But i love Paice's particular sense of groove and musicality, and it kind of goes beyond technique. Although i must say that technique is a big portion of what makes a good drummer and actually, a good musician in general.

    With that being said, i'm off to practice some rudiments...i hate my left hand...4 years playing and i can barely play doubles... cheers.
