  • I'm making the Crysis 2 Forest in Cryengine 3 SDK and while you have everything placed and made really well, cryengine 2 just cannot do justice to the scene. Props though, you really did do a great job.

  • @TheUnsungOne thanks

  • otf game is that?? it is not crysis 2 or crysis..

  • @vexun11 Sooooo basically you're comparing 2 cards vs. 1 card? And comparing it using only one game nonetheless...

  • @vexun11 Anyway, the HD 5870 is over $400, and gets about 20fps more than the GTX 560... Since that isn't so great, what's your point?

  • @vexun11 Well you have to remember, benchmarks are usually optimized for maximum performance and actually are a bit unrealistic. At least that's what Linus from Linus Tech Tips has said.

  • @jpmac098 Also when was that benchmark done? In bc2 maxed out 100% i get way higher then 35fps @ 1080p... lol, no of course the 560 is more powerful, the 460 is even a little bit more powerful but in crossfire these 5830's score higher in unigines benchmark score, I score around 1400, I saw my same i7 system with a 560 ti get around 1000 I believe.

  • @jpmac098 the 560 ti might be better for tessellation but that's nvidia for you, nvidia will usually have the upper hand when it comes to gaming.

  • @jpmac098 @jpmac098 go here wwwhwcomparecom/8915/geforce-gtx-560-ti-vs-radeon-hd-5870/

(add the . to the URL) Compare the ti 560 to the 5870, then look at the 5870 vs 5830 crossfire.

  • @vexun11 Sorry, the GTX 560 benchmark I was looking at was only 1680x1050p, the 1080x1920 benchmark is 60 to 90 fps.

  • @vexun11 Judging by the benchmarks, you have no idea what you're talking about. TWO of them will outperform, but not just one. Yes, you got two for the price of one GTX 560, but with 2 of them it should only just perform at the GTX 560's level, because juding by benchmarks the 5830 is half the GTX 560's performance, and crossfire doesn't even double performance(nor does SLI). According to Tom's Hardware and hwcompare the gtx 560 gets 71.6/105.2 fps in BC2, whereas the 5830 gets 35 fps.
