  • my childhood all over again..louisiana.. such a peaceful time back then... simple....

  • This is the most beautiful song of Joe Sample that I have heard. I love how he moves from one set of chords into uncomplementing sets of sharps or flats and harmoneously then back to the main melody again. He is one fantastic jazz pianist!

  • Everytime I play this song it always reminds me of a CVS Pharmacy store I used to live by.

  • @ampsamp How neat. Ask him did he ever find another Rhodes. When he was here in Cleveland a few years back (with the Crusaders) he said some of the keys on his Rhodes weren't working anymore he was looking to either replace them or the whole thing. I hope he returns to Cleveland again soon. I LURVE to watch him live. His shows NEVER disappoint.

  • Thank you SO much for uploading this. It's my favorite on the Ashes to Ashes album...it always reminds me of my FAVORITE of any boss I've ever had...she was like a mom to me...old enough to be my grandmother...she was patient with me as she taught me the ropes...helped me grow as a young female employee...helped me mature in my job...stern with me when she needed to be...I'll never forget her. I learned so much from her.

  • @Tr1umph4ntSubtly2k12 yep.i knew he played music but i never payed it attention.

  • A truly incredible song. I was a young teenager when I first heard this song, and was touched by it. Love how it felt, and how it sounded. Very relaxing. Even then, I had an appreciation for good jazz music:)

  • incredible song! he really came to the for front of pop with this album!
