You are very lucky. I was in the hospital for 2 months. I was in intensive care for a month on a ventilator and then I had to go through physical therapy and stay in the hospital for another month. I had to have two surgeries to remove the infection from my lungs and uterus and ovaries.

I had a similar experience. My friend found me passed out with my 2 year old running around (husband was away in the army on training). I remember calling my friend to come watch him because I wasn't feeling well... next thing I remember, I was in hospital, where I spent the next week.
Glad I'm here today for my little man! (little men, now!)

I almost died from septic shock. I'm glad I survived it. I told all the nurses they were my angels every day.
