Having 999 HP, 999 MP, a speed of 50, a physical attack of 99, and a magic attack of 99 seems like you'd have to use a Gameshark or the related in order to have. It turns out that it's entirely possible to have such stats without cheating, rather, exploiting a weakness/design flaw in the game. You've seen the basics for stat-raising, now I'll strap a rocket to the process and fire it off. I'll show you the fastest method I'm aware of, for both basic stat raising and the case of when the stat-raiser is a mime. Unseen in the video is the disabling of messages, effects, and the displaying of gained exp and JP. Phase 1 goes from taking an hour to just 40 minutes. Phase 2 goes from taking 2 hours to taking just 1 (and opens up the possibility of getting 50+ levels within 10 minutes).
Disgaea 3 has any game beat on the fastest leveling easily.

This seems like an incredibly circuitous way to disable an enemy. You spend so much time just reducing your own character's speed and such, it seems like a waste.
Why not kill all your enemies except the highest level one, speed break/frog/chicken him, cast berserk on your frog, and petrify your remaining team members? Sure your opponent will get more turns to each of your turns... but that shouldn't really matter in the long run. And it's totally automated once you petrify yourself.
