Dude, you are an absolute freak. In my circle of friends, that's a compliment.

@tf08js2 Rob talks about his career as a composer and sound designer all the time in these blogs, you're acting like it's some big secret. Are you saying people are not allowed to discuss ideas?? What a sad world that would be!

Great explanation of the 2nd law of thermodynamics. There's a lot of ways to imagine how we move through time, and it's hard to visualize because most forces are nonvisual. I'm trying to picture a Planck-sized point as a frame of time, and the next frame is the result of applying the laws of physics to the previous frame (momentum, vector, gravity, intertia) rather than an analog motion.

@brazenhubris Rob speaks the truth.
-
this is true, which is what i find so interesting about the measurement problem in general. we ARE creating what exists for us.
-
this contradiction in terms exists only in scientific language, but if you add some spirituality to it, it would make much more sence meaning that If information = reality and naming it gives a certain amount of information, then the WILL of the subject would CREATE, just like GOD, and if we're all one and we're all together, WE ALL ARE GOD.
-
it depends what perspective you choose to define reality from.
-
if information = reality, if there is no information, then it's not real!
And if really it isn't real, then why would we make it real by "naming" it? isn't it a contradiction of terms? Whe are creating information out of something that do not exists.

The planck length one? Cool! I just watched it. Great analogy with the LED matrix. Check it out everyone:

For some reason the quality seems very poor, but a great video non the less.

The quality is always bad when it first uploads, that's why youtube puts the little message up above the video saying they're still processing it. After a few hours it gets better.
