    There's also a system called SKYSAIL that attaches a giant tethered kite to a cargo ship, the kite goes high to get the faster winds. IIRC it's fuel advantage is better than 30% too.

    There's various videos of it on youtube eg:

    Using both together, perhaps you could never use fuel again (maybe only when near to ports, for safety.)
