The TV series 'Journey to the West' was produced in 1986,it's an old version,but still the best version,it was adapted from the chinese classic novel 'Journey to the West'.The actor 'Sun WuKong' is the greatest 'Monkey King',his stage name is Liu Xiao Ling Tong(six-year-old kid).

when i was about 6 my dad borrowed the DVDs of these from my aunt... its great to be watching it again at age 17 and seeing it from a different perspective, considering it was made in the 80's this was an exceptional series

Of course! "Monkey staff" form is when they use the staff as their monkey's "tail". :3 Sun WuKong is just using his tail, as far as he is concerned.

i discovered this while trying to find the 1966 version of princess iron fan. in my opinion, this is a very fortunate find :)

although i will mention that i still can't find princess iron fan T_T
