Chuck Aaron is an FAA-certified aerobatic helicopter pilot. And he flies for Red Bull. The helicopter is a modified Messerschmitt-Bolkow-Blohm BO-105. Aaron can be seen flying at Red Bull events.
I met Chuck a few years ago when he was just a regular guy. Now he is surrounded by a bunch of wannabees and followers who thinks he is a god because he rolls and loops a BO 105. I saw him strutting his stuff at HAI this year and I wondered why he changed so much.
Great story and enjoy watching helo aerobatics. Question, do all helicopter pilots have that big ole walrus mustache?! Cause everyone I see seems too. Keep on flying!
Berndl: Ja, ja, ja. And the pilot said as much. It's still pretty amazing for rotary heads to bend their minds around. As Aaron said, this is a beefier version than the stock MBB. But yes, the German aerobatic team caused jaws to drop when they first started doing their routine in '86. Tatsachlich! -Bob

How much for one of those rotor heads? I'm guessing $250,000
