picked this album up on ebay put the needle to the record and the flashback and the blessing and the promise of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus is Lord! The 80's were not our salvation. But Jesus is our Lord and Savior!
I am glad to see these posts by Neamberthal! I've wanted to hear Doppelganger for many years. I like the way that DA took the big scare about backward-masking and turned it on its head to express some profound truths. The track is "Ghost of the Heart" played backwards, with vocals by Terry Taylor and spoken word by Ed McTaggart. I first heard this on DA's "Live in Anaheim, 1985" DVD. I think that this track, in particular, illustrates the timeless innovative Spirit inspiring Daniel Amos.
