YOu know McMackin might still be around if he had stayed with the Run N Shoot and started Shane Austin all season and went back to throwing it 50 times a game. I can't believe more of the bigger high schools don't run the Run N Shoot or Air Raid. There is know way a high school defense or defensive coordinator even if he is smart enough has enough smart athletes to stop a team throwing as much June Jones did whe he had Timmy Chang and Colt Brennan.

Norm Chow is stupid to dump the run n shoot and 5 W.R. as a base set while throwing 50+ times a game like Jones did and his predecessor with Moniz even though they probabl;y should have gone with the freshman Cayman Shutter who had better accuracy and arm while being agile in the pocket, run, and read defenses better than Moniz as Monizs' turnovers showed last year. He isn't gonna win too many fans over by changing this offense. Run n Shoot changed this program from a winless joke to a contender
