@legslikelightning When you get to a higher degree, you will know what that shout is for. Its usually meant for reducing the side effects of a counter attack, also to make way for extra chi for the next attack or defensive manoeuvres.

@Davyjones274 Shouting is all part of Taekwono (especially sport), it helps with technique/release of energy/ strength of kick etc. The girl shouting in this video is nothing compared to the people at my club, we sound like a farmyard sometimes lol
