Great man. It's a shame he didn't live to see the Occupy movement. I think he would've been proud.

oh lets eulogise and not spread blame or seek for answers, honestly this is the most pathetic anti war speech i've ever heard, americans are all the same, they have no substance, no strength or backbone, get a philosophy or an ideal, don;t come round here trying to portray some craggy ould geezer as a prophet or saint, sense it might be, illuminating or life changing or seditious it isn't, i know loads of ould geezers who are far more eloquent and succinct, and who have lots more to say

Thanks for uploading this! Bruce "Utah" Phillips was a longtime friend and teacher and still a guiding force in my life. This track in particular is one of my all time favorites. The long memory still is.
This is one of Utah Phillips' most memorable performances. I'm glad I found it so I can post it on FaceBook for the USA Memorial Day.
