Not that this has much to do with which team is better or not, but can anybody tell me why South Carolina ever changed those uniforms, especially the helmets? Those helmets, to me, are still some of the sharpest looking ones ever.

Yea - they did some of their best cheating back in those days. Of course, not as good as back in the early '80's, though. As good 'ol Danny used to say, "Anything worth having is worth cheating for."

this was back when clemson football was a power house football program n the late 80's and early 90's. they were constantly a top 10 team from 1987 - 1991. remember watching this game back in November of 1991 at 13 yrs of age.

Yea, UR right Kara. They were dominant on defense in particular. I think this year, the defense will start to resemble the defense from those years past. They'll be real good this year of defense From 1981-1983 and 1986-1991, Clemson was now joke. Hopefully they can get back to that.

No Problem CUTigersWon. What's your prediction for Clemson. I'm saying that they will go either 10-2 or 11-1, finally win the ACC and go to the Orange Bowl.
