Here are some new systems in development: trying to get rare loot drops to feel more impressive, townsfolk being terrified of werewolves, and doing favors for NPCs. I forgot to talk about how crafting interacts with the treasure system, but rest assured, crafting is important!

You can hear some of the town music in the background, that's part of our soundtrack courtesy of Conor Brace. Might have the volume on the sfx up a bit too high, sorry about that.

    Well, the thing is, we like doing single-player-esque activities... in an environment with friends, so we can socialize, get help, and trade amongst ourselves. We *also* like to do group activities with friends... so we have both. Do you have a particular reason WHY you think that's a terrible idea?

    Because I have seen it fail in dozens of previous MMOs. MMOs are not for playing with a few of your friends - those are co-op games.

    MMOs are for playing with LOTS of strangers (some of whom will become friends). People will solo rather than group with strangers - if they can effectively. Just like life.

    People group out of need.

    Why are you making an MMO?

    That makes no sense, as it's literally what every MMO does from WoW onward. I get that you want forced grouping, but that's not a viable thing in the world anymore. People who don't want to group can't be "forced" to do it. They just go play one of the million other MMOs instead.

    What I want is a community-oriented MMO, and that's what this is. It needs reduced population sizes, reduced anonymity, and more. But it's not without successful precedents. This is not "auto-fail" turf, by any means.

    I disagree with MMODoubter.

    This game looks magnificent so far.

    More people than you think Solo MMORPG games, and eventually get bored of the typical "player interaction" based games, due to it feeling boring without anyone.

    None the less, I'm really excited about Project Gorgon over any other game, due to all these small features. It's what I tell my friends about when I discuss the game, and what we are all looking forward to.

    Ignore the troll, the game looks magnificent.

    I tested it a longer while ago, before this project became a kickstarter project. You will have to contact the channel owner for more info or check the kickstarter page to be with on the testing part.

    A collection of hermits is not a community.

    You're wrong about people not wanted 'forced grouping' games. Name one game that does it. ONE.

    You want to do the very same as all the other MMOs. Why should I play yours?

    A community is people helping each other, not players trying to make friends with NPCs.

    You want a community-based MMO? Get rid of all NPCs. Have players as the vendors and quest-givers.

    You won't get noticed for a couple of gimmicks tacked onto yet another low-budget WoW-clone.
