Are they just not good in concert, or was his voice strained that day already? On CD it sounds better (obviously), but I had heard they were good in concert.

it's a human voice, it can't be used ovr and ovr for hours and hours for a couple days perfectly, eventually it gets bad, buddy's has a pretty amazing voice and writes some pretty deep ass lyrics so every1 who needs to comment negatively on his voice just shut up
