@producerbigsouth The judge was a wife beater, after 4 of his 6 year sentence he was released due to that fact. BUT that is 4 years he wont get back. I have lived in poverty since i was 17, at one point i had to starve myself so my son could eat. I did not commit crimes because of lack of resources, or the fact that because I was working(just to pay the bills) the state wouldnt give me squat for help. I worked off the sweat of my OWN brow, started growing fruits and veggies, pinching pennies

@producerbigsouth This may be an old conversation, but I need to point out something... It isn't race that contributes to the crime levels or punishment for these crimes. In fact it is the matter of biases from the Judge. I am not saying there isn't a level of discrimination, but my brother was thrown in jail on felony assualt charges when he defended a young woman from her abusive husband. They were ALL white, & though it should have been no big deal he spent 4 years for doing the RIGHT thing
