Syria

This video is from my trip to Syria during 2005. Lots of scenes from Damascus, particularly from the old quarter near the Ummayad mosque. I rented a car and did a large circular route around the country stopping in Hama, Allepo, Raqaa, Palmyra and An Tanf. My car broke down in the desert along the Iraqi border and it ended up being a huge headache. Syria was a very nice country to visit and was surpisingly open and easy to travel in.
