I miss Kazuya.... Soegima is kind of good, but he just doesn't bring the whole "creepy, dark, occultist" feel to the series..

@vdeity Besides, that's not necessarily awful in any case. Persona 3 and 4 may not have had art styles as unique as 1 and 2, but on the other hand, there's a much wider variety of faces and expressions used, and the outfit designs are both sound and memorable.

I love Kazuma Kaneko to bits, really I do, but the man just isn't very good at varying facial features in any meaningful way.

@vdeity you do realize that Atlus ACTUALLY made this port ALOT faithful to its original PSX version by including the choice to use both the "original" psx opening and the "original" soundtrack if the player so pleases? Despite me sometimes like acting like a nostalgiafag I do appreciate the game producers make the actual effort to retooling and making some changes into the game system and to make the game appear fresh instead of just being "a dull port".

actually it's almost the same as the original...except for they messed with the character designs and changed the soundtrack. otherwise it's pretty much the same game.
