In Memory of My Budgie Jul. '06-Jan '07

To the people who have commented, thank you for taking the time to leave something to say. For those of you who have lost your feathered companions, I am deeply sorry for your losses. It is tragic to lose a close friend that has been in your life for so long.

My budgie was a very special bird. I had no actual name for him because I had so much to call him. He was very outgoing and he had so much love in his heart. He was more special than a dog, a cat, a hamster, or any other pet. He was a happy and healthy little fellow. He liked to jump around and would even cuddle around a stranger's shoulder. He died from lead poisoning and he passed away on the cage floor in the morning of January 19, 2007. I couldn't save him and I am angry about it. I miss him so much...

Supervise your bird to see what he/she is chewing on and avoid toys that contain lead or zinc.

i sorry... my bird died a while ago too, it really sucked... he was a peach-face lovebird, sonny... he was really awesome...

i couldn't help but notice... the title of this video says july 06-jan 07 thats only 5 months... is that all you had him for? just curious..

thats so sad I used to have a budgie that loved to play webkinz with me and we didn't know he caught a disease from the pet store and one morning I awoke hearing three out of 4 budgies screaming I took the blanket off to see my best friend dead so I got a new budgie but it got a wound from the pet store but my new budgie looks like your dead one but mine is healing but it almost died because the wound was where the heart was It survivied and we had no vet help so I hope your new budgie as good

I am so sorry for your loss, it is a painful experience and this would be a tragic event anybody would avoid. It's just how life works. It is good that your new budgie is healing. Keep him/her away from toys that may contain lead and zinc.

I had a bird. He just died today... R.I.P. Chomple You Will Be Missed. I am very sorry for your loss. It's very hard to have a pet that you love and care for, and it dies. Very sad.

my budgie died at 4:49 PM on the way to the vet....she couldnt stand up and i dnt know wut caused it but it was followed by lameness where they cant stand or anything

she was fine dat morning and then when i came up to check on her she was at the bottom of the cage and my other budgie was by her we where 2 min away from the vet and she jst looked at me and i new she was going to die before we got there =[
