Honeywell pilots, engineers and human factors experts discuss how pilots are responding to an experimental combined synthetic and enhanced vision system the company may develop for lower instrument approach minimums in a head-down environment, assuming the US FAA approves the practice. Currently "credit" for lower landing minimums are only available to operators with head-up displays that show forward-looking infrared camera views
