The glorious, ear-splitting "Holocaust" section of "You Made Me Realise" as performed live by My Bloody Valentine live at the Kool Haus, September 25, 2008, Toronto, ON. The whole section lasted about 25 min. This was about 10 min into it...

  • Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Farting In Space!!!!

  • I feel bad for the security guys. They probably don't want to hear 30 min or the loudest noise possible, and they are right next to the speakers. I would gladly take their place though.

  • As a fan of noise music in general and as a fan of MBV's more musical stuff, I think that this is a very interesting bit of music/noise, although not the kind that everyone would enjoy.

When you're listening to noise loud, really loud, it's not your ears that matter anymore. It's your spine, your stomach- noise that loud for that long does something funky with your nervous system, and I must admit that I really like it.

  • Now, while I disagree with what you say, I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

  • My god, you're right in front of the speakers. I can't believe you can even hear anything anymore. So basically it's the combined sounds of World War 3 played at a slightly lesser volume?

Shame these guys have to waste peoples eardrums and time doing this when we know what they're capable of. Even Merzbow isn't this bad or loud.

  • i just saw them at a festival.... never seen a more pissed off and CONFUSED crowd in my life. I went in only knowing they were loud... and i heard that this part was gonna happen.. i made it through without earplugs, and i had a love hate relationship with the performance. The sound wasn't very good.. Although, Im a huge fan of the volume.. I always told myself that music was never loud enough.

  • yes it sounded like that

i could even feel it in my balls and teeth!

  • it was a goddamned noise enema calder... a noise enema

  • You could feel it in every part of your body. I was nauseous after this.
