Hollywood loves the Western, and Unforgiven was the best western for a long time.

Well from what I've seen you have been raging, saying "fuck you" is not exactly the most cordial of things to say to somebody, is it? You are taking this far too seriously. It is merely a clash of opinions about a film. Personally I think you are wrong, but again that is my opinion, and I have as much right to say that as you do to say yours.

Just stop it man, you know damn well I've said from the first comment that Unforgiven is a great film and I just think Reservior is better, I have not been the least angry or rude, I have not been "raging" on the movie at all, just deliverd my point. So you can stop writing like you are an adult schooling a kid just to get like thumbs up or whatever, becuse it is you who don't seem to be able to accept the fact that not everybody thinks like you. Like if I don't agree with U, I haven't seen it..

It was simply a question of curiosity, as most people who have actually seen the film would at least agree on the bit about it speaking to the human condition. There was absolutely no need for you to use harsh language. If this film winning an Oscar makes you so angry, then I suggest relocating onto some other video. It's pointless to rag on such a good movie, whether it was deserving of the Oscar or not.

The human condition doesn't change all that much. The morals expressed in the movie are still much relatable even today. I wonder if you've even seen the film or are simply ragging on it because you've only seen Reservoir Dogs and are refusing to accept that maybe a Western is a better film...

I don't realy see how a film that takes place in the western can speak to todays human condition but okey, fair enough. As you say, everybody is entitled to their opinion, both great films

I think that Unforgiven spoke to the human condition, which is what made it a better film. It also had deeper themes in my opinion than Reservoir Dogs. Again, this is all opinion. But I think Unforgiven deserved the win.
