  • @qyxzz And the real difference between you and me is that I'm a basketball fan. Not a okc fanboy. I know more about your own team than you do. It's plain sad. Look up real facts before blatantly stating your team is better on no evidence.

  • @qyxzz When the two teams haven't played each other in the playoffs. Yes, regular season DOES mean something. Let alone the fact that the blazers this year are not the same team as last year. Need a star? Can you not read? We have a star in aldridge and a previous all star gerald wallace. Let alone many other players who will consistently take over the game. Westly mathews, Jamal Crawford, batum, raymond felton, just to name a few. Portland's roaster far exceeds okc's roster hands down.

  • And lastly, you need a star, or stars, in the playoffs. How many title teams can you remember that didn't have a superstar that can take over/lead his team or AT LEAST draw so much attention.. another all-star on the roster can dominate? Dirk and his pack of quality players, Kobe-Gasol, Pierce-KG-Allen, Duncan-Parker, Shaq-Wade, etc.

The Blazers are deep, but the Thunder are a team that with some polishing, goes ALL THE WAY, while Portland, as it is, will stay a 1st/2nd rounder.

  • @RedDragonAirsoft Injuries are a part of the game, deal with it. Staying healthy is part of being good. 9-10 years ago, you would think twice about saying 'Kobe is better than T-Mac', but today, it's a nobrainer.

And regular season games, really? 2009 - Magic 2-0 against Lakers in the RS, but get annihilated in the Finals 1-4 and Andrew Bynum barely even played.

Blazers can't get out of the first round. The Thunder can. And that's it. Winning some games ain't shit.

  • @qyxzz Okc beat the eight seed and the 5th seed to get the CF finals. Compare that to portland who battled the champion and got further than any other team including OKC in that battle. Let alone the fact that the blazers, for the last 4 years, have had absolutely horrible luck with injuries. Last year they only had 7 players able to play at one point yet they still had a winning record. As for this year. Portland beat okc in okc. If you're talking current. Portland is better.

  • @qyxzz If you want to win. No, star power does not matter. You know what star power dallas had? Dirk. No one else on that team is really all star potential any more. They played the heat who has more star power. What a winning team needs is a deep team that can defend and score. Every blazer on the floor can score right now. There is no more team shooting struggles. Also, no all star power? Hello? Have you forgotten about lamarcus aldridge and gerald wallace who already is an all star?

  • @RedDragonAirsoft I will say it again. As you stated, both teams started rebuilding at the same time. The Blazers have put together a winning team, but are yet to make it out of the first round, whereas the Thunder got to the CFs, and with a better record.

Franchise? PTB>OKC, but the Thunder are better - at the moment.

Also, this IS the NBA we're talking about. OKC has two exciting all-star/team-USA players. Sadly, star power matters. The Blazers are still great, though.

  • @qyxzz LOL! Yes, they lost to the same exact team in different rounds. All specific facts about the two same teams fighting means nothing right? That time was the very first time okc got out of the first round as well because they faced a weaker opponent than dallas in the first round and were not battling crippling injuries. On top of that. Guess what? Who did okc lose to this year? Dallas once again AND the Portland Trail Blazers IN OKC.

  • @RedDragonAirsoft Nice logic. Then the 2009 Rockets > 2009 Finalist Magic? They took the Lakers to 7. And that's without T-Mac or Yao.

Fact remains, Blazers can't get out of the first round. Number of games don't matter, they LOST the damn series. OKC has a higher seed and goes further, therefore they are superior at the moment. When was the last time the Blazers even got out of the 1st round?

  • @voxextremos22 Christ. Look up your team before speaking. The thunder did not win the western conference finals last year. That was dallas. The spurs had the best record in the west. OKC was fourth. The thunder were not the better team last year. They lost to dallas. Both portland and okc lost to dallas. In fact. Blazers lost 4-2 and okc lost 4-1. Blazers gave dallas the biggest fight out of any one. More than miami even. That's with a injured broken team.
