There is no definitely bad and good guys in this movie. All of them have shortcomings. War is war. And the Russian bordello is the same as the Swedish one. But the French bordello is the best :)

Because it was old times. Tsar Peter even took in his arms Swedish generals and he was very much obliged to them for previous "lessons" which make it possible to win the battle.
