Have the actual DVD and definitely recommend it, I just wish they had at least a short segment on the actual (short-lived) Factory America (which mentioned to release the worthy Ike Yard, who had a retrospective CD released last year on Acute)

Interesting to hear the myth of Martin Hannett being debunked. He certainly relied on technology, but then so did George Martin, to a certain extent. But then I've never set foot in a recording studio so what do I know!
