We start off on the Friday 14th March with Class 37 038 in DRS Blue livery run through Yaxham Station with a Wymondham Service, the service through out the Gala consisted of mark 2 blue and grey coaching stock which was a new addition to the railway. Also in the shot you can see the Yaxham Light Railway where at one point there was 3 light railways around Yaxham Station but now there are only two with being operational. The other is to the right of the Yaxham Light Railway. Please note that I filmed from a private area which is the disused platform please do not go onto this platform unless you have permission as you will be tresspassing. We then see Class 37 038 in DRS blue livery run through again with the return express service for Dereham with mark 2 blue and grey coaching stock. In the shot on the right you'll see the old station building and to the right the waiting room and signalbox.
We then move to the disused platform at Yaxham Station again but this time by the signalbox to see Class 31 235 in BR large logo livery and Class 31 438 in BR blue livery at the head of the train and D8069/ Class 20 069 in blue livery and the tail end of the train with an express service for Wymondham, the shot also gives a close up view of the crossing gates and the old toilet block, also to the right at the end is the goods shed now involved in repairing steam engines! Next we see Class 08 631 Eagle in Network South East livery haul an historic first public service train for Yaxham where the train terminates and returns to Dereham Station. At the beginning of the shot to right behind the large trees would of been another light railway but this is gone completely. Class 37 038 in DRS blue livery at the tail end of the train. Thanks for the last part has to go to my partner as I wasn't expecting it to be filmed as I was taking photos of the event.
