A massive Hurricane Ike sent white waves crashing over a seawall and tossed a disabled 584-foot freighter in high waves as it steamed toward Texas Friday, threatening to devastate coastal towns and batter America's fourth-largest city. (Sept. 12)

  • For the first time in my life, I didnt sleep a whole night. Ike was horrible, it left our side of town with no electricity for 2 weeks and 2 months with no cable or internet!
