i did a search for fern with red berries.iit brought up asparagus.not sure if it is yours.you are asking the wrong person here about gift ideas. hubby and i quit buying for each other years ago.we have so many things going on in dec it drives us up the walls. granddaughter anni is 17th, of course christmas eve and christmas, our anni is the 30th. our daughters anni is the 31st.oy and then new years and new years eve..STOP already. he has three siblings birthdays in dec.on and on thnx for the vid

I always feel bad for ppl who's bday is on or around xmas. They always seem to get the bleep end of the stick on the gift dept. I think it is all relative. The "good old days" of Christmases past had their own headaches. We just didn't have to deal with the headaches. It is funny how when we are kids we think if we "cover" it up no one will see. A new wallet maybe or a new jacket. I hate trying to come up with gift ideas too. : )

Back in the day, Christmas was not so hard to decide what to buy, but this day, with electronic gadgetry and the like, its impossible to get the right thing, so vouchers are usually one way, but then you do not know if they wanty to visit the place where ya got em. Then you could give cash, but you will feel tht is not enough. It is a hard one, so I treat each day as xmas and go to the reserve ;) hehe Happy Holidays - Hugs - Phil

I love ferns and know nothing about them except that the ones up at camp which are near the rocks (which, again, I guess retain heat) stay green all year in whatever weather, even under snow. I can't figure that out, but it's par for the course. :)

I don't know Rick but he must be cool. I'd say write him another poem (you've got plenty of words), then go out in that loaner car and mash the gas pedal on some back road. :)

I'm glad that I'm cruising the Caribbean and away from the Christmas madness, but the people are quite a bit the same on a cruise as they are in the malls... Don't be afraid about the rental car. It's insured! :)

Happy birthday to Rick!!! Hubby's and father's are the hardest to buy for, does he like reading, you could get him a kindle?

We have 3 birthdays in January, my 2 daughters and hubby all in the one week, we are 21 yrs married today and he is bringing me out for a meal tomorrow night, i am looking forward to it.

oooooooh I don't know about plants... I do have a holly bush/ tree looking thing.. it stays green all winter when red berries .. love it! Gifts for hubby... hmm hard one, I don't buy gifts that often. I have purchased a movie or two that hubby loves --- so he could watch them anytime he wants. I have bought on ebay an old record album or movie poster that he loved -- like Casablanca and had it framed. Hugs to ya!
