The reason why they dont play any VH is because Eddie made Anthony relinquish any claims and rights to VH songs before doing the reunion tour with Hagar. Eddie's not dumb. Chickenfoot was in the works well before Anthony left VH. Eddie made Anthony rich in VH. He wasnt gonna keep feeding him dollars after he left the band. Thats why Anthony and Hagar are all butthurt.

@SirRembrant actually dumbass...Wolfie is a great bass player. And at 22+/-, he's only going to get better. The only reason MA is in a band at all is because he's Sammys buddy. And both Sammy and Micheal are out of the band because they pushed their own products while riding on =VH='s coat tails.

@SirRembrant Personally, I don't think Van Halen needs or wants a bass player. Honestly, Michael Anthony is a damn good bassist but it's always turned down so it doesn't drown out EVH's virtuoso guitar riffs. That has to be EVH's doing. Even, the albums have the bass turned down way too far. "running with the devil" has two bars of bass and then it's all EVH. What they'll never get is M.A's awesome back-up vocals. Today, Van halen, is just a sad parodyof himself.

Yeah, Sammy writes such powerful lyrics like, "Getcha toothbrush...soap & a comb"..."Arriba Arriba" & the ever deep "Oh Yeah"!! lol Hagar's songwriting ability is lazy & laughable at best on this album.
