Imagine yourself trying to upload a full HD video that's not render to any website. Now try to imagine Curiosity upload a video like that from 225 million km away from Earth in a small window open that they have while the satellites around the Mars are in place to transmit that to Earth. I hope now you can understand why they don't show us videos.

Spamming. They go to Mars(which is pretty difficult,in case you ask) and they make *Science* there. What's the purpose of a video? Is it more entertaining? Bad luck, they're not there to entertain youtube-HD fans. Rocks there developed a very deep habit of staying still. Learn what experiments are being done there, that's much much more interesting ;o)

Mate.. Be happy for at least you're getting to see high resolution images from a planet 255 million km away, in your life time :)

We don't have fiber connection to the Mars yet..lol

Looks like you're watching too many Sci-Fi movies. Just kidding :P

Things are not gonna happen too soon. Good example 2010 - A Space Odyssey.

And if they received that funding. Do you think it will be any different?

    I certainly don't.

Of coarse we wont get one from NASA with the funding it's getting.

Through private companies? Maybe not. However I didn't even mention private companies. But, we certainly are not going to get one from NASA either.

If they do perish, it's going to be due to a lack of funding. We're not going to get a Mars colony from private companies.

    Maybe I already have.

NASA has no vision, no set goals, not ultimate aim. Besides doing the same thing over again. Therefore, they shall perish.
