Why is there a debate on every recruiting video Ive seen, people I dont care where your from, what you've done but the soldiers from any country be it, U.S, Russia, China, I dont care but the men and women willing to die for what they believe in I think they deserve your Goddamn respect.

When I had just been hauled off the cattle truck to basic training, I was scared as all heck, Drill Sergeants yelling, and everyone scrambling. We were taken to a room where we all sat, the Commanding Officer gave us a speech, followed by this commercial. After this, I wasn't scared, I was inspired. Glad to say I am now serving as a US Army soldier.

@sgtortiz641 Also, I think you may be lacking in the discipline that is required of a NCO. Where are the Army Values in your statement above? I see no respect, no integrity in the way you talk to a complete stranger, which makes me know what type of leader you are to your soldiers - *if you have any*, because with those antics, you shouldn't. We are our words... Reevaluate, reflect and please give an intelligent, logical, rational response - one that would give NCO's due credit.

@sgtortiz641 Don't make assumptions, it makes an ass out of you and me. I'm prior active duty enlisted 19D, just because you see ROTC doesn't mean i'm some green nose who doesn't know what it is to serve... I would've hoped more from you as an enlisted soldier... Anyone who takes Congress at their word in this day and age is lost. Especially when some Congress HATE the military and will say anything to tear it down. Educate a little more than just a Congressional reference,

@ROTC44532 First of all "ROTSEE" do not grade my perfomance as a ten year combat Soldier as you do not know me. Second, The Marine corps being the smallest force next to the Coast Guard with a very high cost to benefit ratio (According to congress) and my experience dealing with the "Isolationist" marine attitude makes me a better judge. My Jump school class had six marines, They attend 60% Army schools. Stand down, Your out of line. GIVE ME 50 ! AIRBORNE, HOOAH!

@sgtortiz641 A good soldier would recognize the need for the Marines and understand the benefit they provide to the country as a whole... If you don't respect them, you are lacking as a soldier. Marines, Air Force, Navy and Coast Guard all serve in theri respective positions to make our military strong as a whole... Dont forget that.

We (Soldiers) dont need a pretty uniform to feel important or valuable. We are SOLDIERS! We perform and provide per our directives. Oh, by the way, We dont need you marines we can do it by ourselves! You have never been a help, Just a hindrence.
