You are so right about dogs and coughing.....Fortunately, his cough was solely associated with his making the gutteral growling noises. That was the only coughing he had. We love Nacho so much that if there was ever the thought that he could have been sick he would be straight to the vet!

adorable! but have you had your dog checked out? there could be somethin wrong with his throat or lungs. coughing can be a sign of life threatening sicknesses! my 7 month old puppy just passed away from suspected pneumonia. he had a cough too. maybe you should consider doing some research or find a vet that has a good reputation. i took my boy to the local vet two weeks before he passed away. the vet did nothing about his cough at the time, so make sure they actually do a x-ray and/or blood test
