Mr. Garner,
Thank you for sharing your experience. As a Father with two small children I found myself in a valley so low I had to ask God redirect my path. I lost everything but my kids. My wife left me with my young son and daughter and I went from working with the elite to homeless and hungry. I want you to know my soul wept physically and spiritually as I heard your journey. I push forward. Thank you! I'm there, I made it, I'm breathing again! GJ

@TheDenknach I have done that and I do pretty good for myself and in a time of economic unrest my buisness is growing while other people like nurses I guess are crying about no jobs I'm working really hard to create more jobs but right now I employ 23 people and I keep them busy enough to work 6 days a week and overtime almost anyday they want to work it. By no means am I at the level of Mr. Gardner but ther is nothing wrong with setting the bar as high as I want.

@TheCaferocker try to labor under correct knowledge... as a nurse etc.... you wont get rich.. you can be extreme good there but you wont be rich. thats what i meant. american people used to believe that everyone can be rich.. im sorry too disapoint you.. not everyone.. its like a lottery. But people believe in this system because they think THEY will be rich... also the system has mistakes which gives the finance companies extreme power. watch: money as debt.

@mrblw1971: You're right; sometimes shit goes sideways. But Gardner - and this is the first I've heard of him - is also correct: You haven't lost whatever skills and abilities you've collected up 'til now. And you were made for a purpose. That's not hollow rhetoric: It's true. You may never know the ripple effect even the least of your actions can have on the people around you, but even a small action on your part can lead to big changes. You matter.
I love this guy. What a role model for everyone young and old.
