  • How can we call this a moral and compasionate country when we have so many down right poor through no fault of their own (mostly by birth). We claim to be religious but we care more for children not born than for children born.

  • I'm a delivery driver in Texas working for minimum wage, and my republican co-workers honestly believe the minimum wage increase is going to *hurt* them. It's "simple economics", they say. It's scary how brainwashed people can let themselves become.
