It is sad that this show was canceled. I think it had a potential. The first two seasons are absolutely the best in my point of view. The rest of it was somehow worse. Anyway great video.

@cantorock all the seasons of andromeda were great, except for season 5 with all the bar room fighting BS. it was like it went back in time, not like an advanced scifi time, so season 5 sucked. the final episode was good thou :)

I still has some really cool stuff in the final three seasons for sure, some of it can be tough to get by though I guess.

I'm starting to watch Andromeda Season 3 now. I watched and loved Seasons 1 and 2, but people tell me it's all down hill from now.

Is it really worth watching the rest? The CG is already looking better now, but I'm already not enjoying this as much as before... Tyrs arms, for instance, just seemed messed up.

Anyway... I'm going to keep trying to watch Season 3 and see how it goes :(

@RahdeTheFine Agreed the first 2 seasons were the best.. The others became odd and were losely attached to the main stories of the first 2 seasons. Thats because they fired the main story writer after season2. He was the real creative head for the episodes in the first 2 seasons.

They also had less budget available for the other 3 seasons. The producer studio vanished after the end of Andromeda.

@Rajalord27 I never thought about ever naming one, but I suppose I'd go for a name that doesn't reflect it's battle prowess so much. I'd possibly choose "Venusian Dawn" or, simply, "Oorf" (there are no rules stating they can't have a singular name, after all.

- FYI The Series was not canceled completely. The show was picked up by the Sci-fi channel and ran to it's completion. Though it did suffer from two incompatible visions. the Season 1 &2 being good and the rest (IMHO) almost completely horrible in comparison to it's potential. (Dillan became a actual God on the show again!) In some ways better if you keep thinning it was canceled.

actually, go back and re-watch it, in the ending, they say it was destroyed by a rogue comet. Sabotage was what they were thinking because the first officer was a Nietzchean who's pride was renowned for betrayal.
