after reading some of these comments i feel a need to clarify some things.
First off. Inteligent design doesnt necessarily mean christianity or any other religion. All it means is that someone may have had a part in our design
Secondly. This movie is about how INTELIGENT DESIGN isnt allowed to be taught in schools, not Christianity
Thirdly. this movie is more about pointing out shortcomings in eveloution
finally my view. im a christian, i see design in every living thing. Prove there isnt

In addition, we must understand that much of the misunderstandings come simply from the language we use. In science for example, the terms "fact," "theory," "random chance," and many others have different meanings than they do in the lay world. Sometimes they are only slightly different, but sometimes it's a huge difference. And that difference is important to understanding the science (even if you don't agree with it).

The amount of misinformation in these posts is truly mind-boggling. If you don't want to AGREE with the science, that's your prerogative. But before you claim it to be false, at least UNDERSTAND the science.
I am so tired of reading posts like, "Yeah, well how does a monkey have a human baby?" It seems too many posts are spent with science-minded people correcting the mis-information of others. So, please, at least KNOW your opponent's argument before you contradict it.

people have the wrong view of scientists...i study physics and know plenty of physics professors who believe and talk freely about the existence of god. my prof last year was jewish and he even gave us a strong argument during one lecture, claiming that "god wanted us to do physics" (it had to do with how the more difficult something is to observe, the more complex it is mathematically)

even though i do partially agree with the statement below, it works just as well if you substitute "university campuses", or "islam". it all has to do with how people view themselves. scientists believe that they are god, and that they are "the way, the truth, and the life and that no one comes to know the truth except through them." they cant even answer the question "how did we get here?". they always seem to start with something that already exists. thats cheating!! :)
