so because you're wife dropped a 600 dollar phone you're blaming BB. Typical. Blame someone else. I have dropped my Z10 by mistake several times (about 4 times) and the only thing that's happened to it is a small dent on the edge of the screen and corner of the phone and a sharp edge of metal nicked my battery door. That's it. And for the record, everyone at my work has a cracked iPhone. Glass coming off everywhere. Buy accidental protection if you're prone to dropping it.

My wife bought a new Z10 and after 4 days dropped it in our living room on the carpet when it was in a case.  The screen smashed. Not well made at all. I can drop an I-phone and it will not break in the same circumstance. Don’t buy Blackberry. Cost us a lot of money. Lesson learned!
