Too bad you didn't show the Compton Drive-In mural, it was very unique. It was a very majestic depiction of Viking ships sailing through a torrential sea. I will always remember it fondly.

A better time ...

They just closed the drive-in here in Scottsdale, AZ that has been around for more than 30 years. It's like a part of the town's history and soul has died. Many people including myself are sad to see it go but are happy that we shared some great memories at this wonderful place. RIP Scottsdale 6

My parents took me to a drive-in movie out in the boonies of Fresno called Sunset, and they were showing horror flicks. I was just a kid in the back seat getting real scared, but I liked it. Horrors of the Black Museum, Dr. Terror's House of Horrors. When that hand was crawling with Christopher Lee, I was looking all over my back seat, let me tell you. I stayed with the drive-in movie thing until pretty much when they became extinct. Now I have mobile Netflix, and watching same stuff, go figure.

@1997joe I didn't mean all of them. I know some really cool teenagers. I'm juts saying: if you get a bunch of old bags like me, they're more likely to sit there and be quiet.

@moonrice555 not every teenager is like that, the greif teenages get now-a-days in unbelievable
I used to live down the street from a drive-in. I used to be able to see the screen out the bathroom window! It was fun! But I got in a lot of trouble for staying in the bathroom too long! LOL!

back in the day, if they had made a horror film about going to drive-in movies, people would have been scarred shitless
